Our homemade mushroom barley soup is a family tradition when we crave winter comfort food. Our soup is made with a chicken and mushroom stock base and has caramelized white mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, onions, carrots and celery along with salt and pepper.
Our homemade chicken soup is an old family recipe aka Jewish Penicillan. Great for a cold winter's night or anytime. Comes with four matzoh balls flavored with dill and a hint of nutmeg.
When you get home, thaw the container overnight in the fridge or empty container into a pot and slowly bring to a simmer on the stove. Serve piping hot!
